Philip Kotler

The 2005 Marketing Masters Series hosted Phil Kotler, one of the most prolific and influential marketing writers. He is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Kotler’s book, Marketing Management, now in its 12th edition, is the world’s leading textbook in marketing and has been translated into 25 languages. Kotler has written 35 books on subjects such as marketing places, ideas, social causes and celebrities. His recent books include Marketing Insights A to Z, Lateral Marketing and Ten Deadly Marketing Sins. Kotler also has been a consultant to such companies as Apple, IBM, Bank of America, AT&T, Ford, GE and others. Additionally, he holds honorary degrees from ten universities around the world.
